These terms govern the use of this website and the provision of legal services by Damrong Law. By using our website or engaging our services, you accept these terms. If any aspect is unclear, we are glad to explain it before you proceed.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you hold under Thai law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

2. Services Provided
Damrong Law provides the following legal services in connection with inheritance and estate matters in Thailand:
- Will Preparation Consultation — an unhurried consultation on preparing a will and ordering your estate under Thai law.
- Estate Administration Guidance — support with documentation, correspondence, and the procedural steps involved in administering an estate after a loss.
- Inheritance Dispute Representation — considered representation where an inheritance matter is contested, covering preparation, documentation, and presenting your interests.
The precise scope of services for any matter will be set out in a separate engagement letter or service agreement. These terms form part of, and should be read alongside, that agreement.
3. Engaging Our Services
A professional relationship is established only upon the signing of a client engagement letter and our acceptance of instructions. Submitting an enquiry through our website, or a preliminary conversation, does not create a professional relationship or impose any obligation on either party.
We reserve the right to decline instructions at our discretion, including where a conflict of interest exists or where we do not consider it appropriate to act. We will let you know clearly and promptly if we are unable to assist.
All fees applicable to a matter will be agreed in advance and set out in writing. Published prices on this website represent the starting point for each service and are exclusive of court filing fees, disbursements, or government charges where applicable.
4. Fees and Payment
Published service prices are:
- Will Preparation Consultation — ฿1,900
- Estate Administration Guidance — ฿6,400
- Inheritance Dispute Representation — ฿9,700
These prices are subject to confirmation at the time of engagement and may be varied by written agreement for more complex matters. Payment terms will be set out in the engagement letter. We do not charge for an initial enquiry conversation.
Where disbursements such as court fees or Land Department charges are incurred on your behalf, these will be agreed in advance and invoiced separately at cost.
5. Professional Standards and Conduct
Our practitioners are bound by the professional conduct rules applicable to legal practitioners in Thailand. These rules include obligations of confidentiality, avoidance of conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of clients at all times.
We maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the nature and scale of services we provide.
6. Confidentiality
All information you share with us in connection with a matter is held in confidence. We will not disclose your information to any third party except where required to do so by law, court order, or where disclosure is necessary to carry out the services you have instructed us to provide.
Confidentiality obligations continue after the conclusion of a matter and after any termination of our relationship.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability in connection with any matter is limited to the extent permitted under Thai law and the terms of our engagement letter. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of legal services.
Information published on this website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. The law applicable to any individual situation depends on particular circumstances, and you should not rely on website content as a substitute for professional advice.
8. Termination of Instructions
You may end your instructions to us at any time by written notice. We may cease to act for you in accordance with professional conduct rules, for example where continued representation would breach those rules or where fees remain unpaid after reasonable notice.
On termination, fees for work completed to the date of termination will be due. We will provide your file to you or your new advisers promptly, subject to any lien we are entitled to hold under Thai professional rules.
9. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to raise the matter with us directly in the first instance. We take all feedback seriously and will respond with care and without delay.
Complaints that cannot be resolved internally may be referred to the relevant Thai legal professional body. We will provide details of the applicable process on request.
